As one of the leading suppliers of grounds care machinery JSM limited has a sales team that covers the whole of the UK. The sales team needed the ability to easily check up to date availability of demonstration machinery and to request the use of machinery for a potential customer.
In the past this was managed by calling the head office where the demo fleet was managed on a spreadsheet.
The new solution involved creating an electronic request and approval process for fleet machinery as well as a calendar showing the availability of each piece of equipment. In addition to this the database contains all the demonstration fleet details and prices allowing for a quick reference in the event a demonstration model is to be sold.
An electronic delivery logistics system was created to administer the transport side of the business ensuring everyone was informed about the movement of equipment.
Finally a new and used equipment inventory was created and published to the public facing website allowing potential customers to search for and enquire about available machinery held in stock.
